Welcome to GreenThumb Notts East
Customer care is at the centre of our ethos, and we treat every lawn as if it was our own. That is why many of our customers do not hesitate to recommend us to family and friends, and have been with us for a long time, whether they have remained in the same house or have moved within the region.
Our continued success relies on our customer care programme delivered by our friendly and qualified team,
Supporting Mark are a team of fully trained and professionally qualified lawn operatives and office staff. Each operative is licensed to City and Guilds (NPCT) Level 2 in Safe Application of Pesticides (PA1/PA6), thereby ensuring treatments are applied without risk to themselves, customers, or the environment. All products we use are fully approved and especially formulated to treat the needs of your lawn.
In Nottingham the lawns can be a challenge at times, being vulnerable to drought damage, troublesome weeds and pest infestation, not to mention moss and fungal diseases. However at GreenThumb Notts East all our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience working with these conditions, and know what is needed to get the best results for our customers lawns.
Our services range from five pre-scheduled treatments a year, covering weed/moss control and fertilisation to programmes including aeration and scarification and treating lawn diseases. To help dry/drought effected lawns our new Oasis treatment is a water conserver, designed to reduce the amount of water your lawn needs to stay healthy, we also add a liquid sea weed extract which helps to improve colour of your lawn almost immediately.
If you are not happy with your lawn, we can also carry out a full lawn makeover leaving you with a brand new lawn for less than you would think.

Frequently Asked Questions
When can I start using GreenThumb?
You can adopt our services at any time of the year. There is never a ‘bad time’ to start improving your lawn.
Do I have to be at home when you come and treat my lawn?
The majority of our customers are not at home when we call. Since all our vehicles and Lawn Operatives are self-sufficient, we can carry out your treatments as long as we have access to the lawns.
If you would prefer to be in when we are treating your lawn, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
I have children and /or pets. What should I be aware of?
We recommend that you keep off the lawn until any liquid part of the treatment has dried (approx. 2 hours). This stops it being walked off. And this is especially true of our NutraGreen Autumn Long Treatment, we recommend that you keep off the lawn for more than 2 hours then as it could stain a carpet or wooden floor, if it were walked into the home.
Grazing pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs should be kept off the lawn for a minimum of two weeks or three cuts, whichever occurs latest, to avoid ingestion of Ragwort, in particular, which becomes poisonous to them as it dies back.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, we want our customers to continue with GreenThumb based on our merits in creating a healthier, greener lawn for them - not because they are stuck in a contract. Of course, with our treatment programmes, you will need to sign a Direct Debit Mandate with the relevant T&C's which relate to this payment option.
