So, why settle for dull weathered surfaces when your outdoor areas can look as fresh as the day they were installed? Over time, dirt, organic debris, and general wear can rob your hard surfaces of their original charm. But with our advanced paving cleaner and drive cleaner formula, we bring them back to life—removing grime, revitalising their appearance, and transforming your space into an area you can be proud of.

Whether you're looking for a cleaner for patios, a powerful weed killer for driveways, or reliable patio cleaning services, GreenThumb has you covered. Our Hard Surface Treatment is more than just a surface solution—it’s a comprehensive care system.

We also offer a Hard Surface Weed Control Service to ensure your outdoor areas remain not only beautiful but structurally sound. Weeds are not only an eyesore—they can grow quickly in cracks, joints, and edges of hard surfaces like pavements, driveways, decking and patios. Left unchecked, they can disrupt the appearance of your outdoor space and even cause significant damage over time.

In combination with our Hard Surface Treatment, our Weed Control Service offers a comprehensive solution to ensure your outdoor space remains both visually appealing and structurally sound. You can enjoy your outdoor areas without worrying about unsightly weeds or potential damage—keeping everything looking its best for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

On what Hard Surfaces do you apply your treatment?

Our treatments work well with paving slabs, block paving, decking, concrete, artificial sports turf and tarmac. We do not apply the treatment to fencing, marble or slate.

What is the recommended number of Hard Surface Treatments?

We recommend four hard surface treatments for optimal results

Do I need to prepare the patio/hard surface before your team arrives?

Before we carry out a Hard Surface Treatment if there is significant debris or dust, it would be appreciated if you could brush this off before our arrival. Also, if leaves are present please remove these. This will assist in helping to make the treatment more effective.

Is the treatment safe for my family and pets?

After having a Hard Surface Treatment we simply recommend that children and pets are kept off the area until the product has dried, usually around 2 hours. Additionally, it would be advisable to not walk on the surface treated for this same 2-hour period, as there is the chance of contamination of other surfaces, including lawns.

Can you carry out Hard Surface Weed Control all year around?

Whilst we can schedule Hard Surface Weed Control at any time, we need to wait until the weeds are present and active, typically from March onwards to apply the treatment.

Dependent on conditions, we recommend having a hard surface weed control treatment at least once a year.
